According to CurrentCost, their software will be available, for free, mid to late August.

Today is August 20, so hopefully it will be available very soon

In the meantime, there are some apps floating around that people have shared to display CurrentCost data. I've started a list on the wiki homepage. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I had an email from CurrentCost today saying "............but we have also now developed a USB cable, although it won’t be available for around another month yet".
Hopefully, their software will work on both Serial and USB.

it's worth asking. depends on how the new USB cable will work, I guess. If it's just included a serial-to-usb converter, then I doubt it makes any difference

I wrote some scripts to display my data, hosted on a NSLU2 box. The page is here:

energy.bbarker.co.uk

The files are at:

bbarker.co.uk/energy.zip

In no way fool proof, but they do the job :-)

Hi Ben,
That's for a great script. I used it on my NSLU2. I modified it slightly to work with the newer CurrentCost - the Envi CC128. Baudrate and XML are slightly different.
Files are here:

Thanks again!
Sam
