In the meantime, there are some apps floating around that people have shared to display CurrentCost data. I've started a list on the wiki homepage.

I had an email from CurrentCost today saying "............but we have also now developed a USB cable, although it won’t be available for around another month yet". Hopefully, their software will work on both Serial and USB. Do you find this valuable? |

"Hopefully, their software will work on both Serial and USB."it's worth asking. depends on how the new USB cable will work, I guess. If it's just included a serial-to-usb converter, then I doubt it makes any difference Do you find this valuable? |

I wrote some scripts to display my data, hosted on a NSLU2 box. The page is here:energy.bbarker.co.uk The files are at: bbarker.co.uk/energy.zip In no way fool proof, but they do the job :-) 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Hi Ben, That's for a great script. I used it on my NSLU2. I modified it slightly to work with the newer CurrentCost - the Envi CC128. Baudrate and XML are slightly different. Files are here: http://www.plentyways.com/blog/2009/09/how-i-created-my-home-energy-monitor/ Thanks again! Sam Do you find this valuable? |
